Mariana began her musical journey at 12 years

old when - after being rejected from the school

choir - she decided to give voice lessons a try.

She went on to earn her Bachelor of Music

degree from Hunter College, as well as a

Bachelor of Arts in Voice Performance from

the academically prestigious Macaulay

Honors College.


Since then,  Mariana has achieved a

successful career in musical theater and

operetta,  performing nationally and locally in

various esteemed professional venues

including the famous Player's Theater and

Carnegie Hall.  Some of her favorite roles and

projects include Sophie (Masterclass),

Hodel (Fiddler on the Roof),  the title role in the

Off-Broadway original production of The Little

Mermaid,  and  the world premier of Paul

Moravec's  "Blizzard Voices" with the

distinguished Oratorio Society of New York.  


In addition to her career as a performer,

Mariana is privileged to be the Assistant

Director of the College Preparatory Musical

Theater Workshop at the Aaron Copland

School of Music of Queens College and has

cultivated and taught at various

educational music programs in New York CIty.  


Beyond her musical endeavors,  Mariana is a

published poet,  and a graduate student

currently pursuing a master's degree in

Western Intellectual Traditions at the CUNY

Graduate Center.  Mariana is currently writing

lyrics for Schall's next composition.




Sam started playing the piano at 3 years of

age with his mother who was a teacher at the

Manhattan School of Music Preparatory

Division.  At an early age Sam was exposed

to music from around the world.  He was

trained in Classical piano and found major

influence in the Impressionist composers.


Sam studied Italian Literature and

Anthropology at The George Washington

University.  Since his return to NYC, Sam

attended the Lee Strasberg Theater and

Film Institute where he studied Method Acting.


Sam recently performed Off-Broadway in the

musical drama "The Defendant",  a musical

biopic of Maurice Chevalier.  He was honored to

portray Chevalier's musical partner and

influential composer Henri Betti (C'est Si Bon).


Sam currently leads the musical group

FADE ON:  a chamber rock project which  

blends genres across the board including

minimalism,  trance,  pop,  and folk.
